Seminar with Master Hui kit-wah (Chinese Water Boxing)
Master Hui is coming to our gym to host his seminar on 11th and 12th February 2012. This guy is amazing, he teaches you so much and holds nothing back.. With one flick of his wrist you'll be on the floor!
Book now as spaces are limited. £50 for 1 day or £80 for 2 days 10.30 - 3.30.
About Master Hui
Master Hui kit-wah has been practicing martial arts since childhood. Along with a master degree of Science, he has practiced Karate, Judo, Choy Li Fut, Wing Chun, and qigong etc. During the past twenty years, he devoted himself to the research of traditional Chinese internal martial arts. He also has great interest in the functions of martial art regarding to exercising the body and keeping practitioners healthy. He has tried to study and analyze the internal strength of internal martial arts and its secrets from the perspectives of sports and scientific theories. He learned several kinds of internal martial arts from many teachers, for example Xing Yi Chuan, Ba Gua, Tai chi and Liu He Ba Fa and Yi Chuan. Later he was formally accepted as a disciple by 3 masters and has certainly gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge for almost 50 years!

Look out for the Lion!
Harrogate Lau Gar Kung Fu from the NCCMA will be perfomring many Traditional Lion Dances over the Chinese New Year.
We will be visiting many local schools to teach and show the Tradtional Lion Celebration and performing at some very prestigious Restaurants and venues around the area, including the Royal Baths on Monday 23rd January.
The Lion Dance is performed to bring luck in the forthcoming year, and is an amazingly spectacular display of music, dance and of course acrobatic and martial Skill.

Open Day for the New National Centre for Chinese Martial Arts
Come along to see the New training Centre. 12 noon - 4pm Saturday 10th December 2011.

The NCCMA (National Centre for Combat Martial Arts) Harrogate is moving to a new training centre!
Over the next few weeks work is being carried out on preparing the new home of the gym. Based not too far from our current gym, the new centre will boast many more exciting additions to make the place even better - and not just for those who are training. Mums and Dads, and spectators, will now be able to watch from a wonderful raised area, whilst relaxing on comfortable sofas and seats, and enjoy a refreshing drink for our onsite facilities.
We cannot wait to open the new, gym, so please keep listening to find out when all the classes will move.
